Nativity

The nativity or birth of Jesus is one of the most iconic scenes of Christmas. Baby Jesus, the manger, the 3 wisemen, Mary, and Joseph.

Naughty

One half of Santa’s list. The children on this side of the list gets coal in their stocking

Net Lights

Net Christmas lights are a good quick way to decorate trees, shrubs, and hedges.

Neula

A Spanish Biscuit made in thin sheets then rolled traditionally eaten around Christmas time.

Newborn

Baby Jesus

Nibbling

Merry CHristmas Disney plate with Mickey and Minnie, half eaten chocolate chip cookies, half eaten carrot, candy cane, and a mug of milk layed out for santa alongside a few Small Christmas trees all on a fur white table topper

Santa nibbles on the cookies you leave out for him. At our house we leave out chocolate chip cookies, carrots, and candy canes.

Nice

The half of Santa’s list all kids want to be on.

Nicholas

Saint Nicholas aka Santa Claus

Night

Twas the Night Before Christmas.

CHristmas Eve is the night before Christmas.

Nightmare Before Christmas

The popular Halloween to Christmas movies

Noble & Nordmann Fir

These christmas trees are one of the better live trees you can get in my opinion. The reason being is they have strong branch’s to hold up to the weight of Christmas ornament.

Noel

Noel a latin word meaning “to be born”. Meaning Jesus was born on Noel or as we call it now Christmas

North Pole

The North Pole is the home of Mr. & Mrs. Claus, and the elves.

Nose

In the beloved story ‘Twas the night before Christmas Santa touched the side of his nose as a gesture to the reader that is is no reason to let any one else know and the secret is between us.

Nostalgia

People are nostalgic over particular parts of and the memories they cherish of the Christmas season. The part I’m most nostalgic about is between Christmas eve and opening one present and it always being pj’s, or opening our stockings on Christmas morning and always getting a orange in the bottom. The things you get nostalgic about tend to turn into family traditions as a way to try and get those feelings back. It’s never the same but what’s great is you start creating those moments with your own kids.

Nutcracker

The nutcracker is associated with Christmas as a German folklore thought to bring luck and protect the family and home. The Tchaikovsky Nutcracker Ballet was first performed on Christmas Eve 1944 and became a Christmas time tradition for a lot of people.

Nutmeg

Ginger bread house with smarties, M&M’s and Hershey Kisses

Nutmeg and Christmas go hand and hand. Don’t believe me? Try having egg nog without nutmeg, try having sweet potatoes for Christmas dinner without nutmeg… You can’t, it just makes them better. If you love decorating a gingerbread house or making your own gingerbread man & gingerbread woman family nutmeg is on of the spices you’ll need. Oh and if you want to spice up your hot chocolate a bit try adding a dash to the whipped topping.

Nuts

Roasted nuts are a classic christmas time of year treat. I personally always have homemade Chex mix as a gift and not sure if it’s the same for you but in our stockings we always got peanuts, cashews, or, pistachio’s. We have carried that tradition on with our kids, even to our pets… Well the chinchilla anyways, she loves almonds.

Nuttin’ For Christmas

Not one of the most known Christmas Songs but it’s hilarious. Nuttin’ for Christmas is about a child that does all these bad things and sings about it.

I hope this list is to your liking Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday‘s and as always tell your loved ones you love and Cherish them.
